IEP meeting
An IEP meeting is a meeting of the IEP team, which includes the parents, to develop, review or revise a child's IEP. The school must take steps so that parents can take part.
Those steps include telling parents early enough to attend and finding a time and place that works for both sides. An ordinary or unscheduled conversation with a teacher is not a meeting under federal rules.
Also called: IEP meeting, IEP team meeting, annual review meeting
